The Politics of Corporate America..

Office politics are really crazy sometimes - what you say, how you say it, what others hear, who you need to ask to get something done, why it takes 4 people to get a computer set-up, jealousy, anger, climbing the corporate ladder, different rules for different people, lack of support, having the wrong title to be included, being the favorite, having connections, stress and probably a bunch more.

Every job has some kind of politics, but at what point is it time to move on? But wait.....when the politics aren't there, you love your job. Do you stay and put up with it, or look for something else. Maybe the politics are worse someplace else and what you're experiencing isn't that bad?

I found this great quote from Jay Chiat about his advertising agency.... "We don't have titles on our business cards. No one really gets any special treatment. No one gets a corner office to put pictures of their family and their dog in."
